Latest works off the "blocking board"

Flor de la Antartida doily.   I found this pattern a while back on the web (can't remember where).  It immediately caught my eye because of the picots surrounding each pineapple and called to be made.  The color and added flower were my "touches" to the pattern.

Ovalis Doily from the House of White Birches, Floral Beauties Series.

I call this one "Classic One".  It's from a magazine called Diana Ouvrages, issue #113 from 11/2004.  Again the color and flower are my "touches".

The last one is called "Pineapples & Picots".  I don't have where it came from right now, but it was from a U.S. published book.

  1. Oh they are absolutely gorgeous. I'm not really a doily person but I am sorely tempted to make some. Purely because of the beauty of them.

I love the lavender and white ones. So pretty.

  13. Maria...it's taken me many, many years to get to this point with my crochet. I'm truly evolving to color after 40+ years of white/ecru/and an occasional one color doily. I'm loving it!!

  18. How do I get the directions for making this doily? I can't find directions for any of them. Your work is beautiful but I would like to make my own. Thank you, Donna
