Yes, it's not a doily this time. I've started a baby blanket for a little girl. It's been about 3 yrs since I crocheted anything for a baby, so I'm having to get use to working with yarn again. It is coming along nicely. The pattern is from a Leisure Arts leaflet called Crocheted-Afghans for Baby 2 published in the late 1980s. I've made blankets from this leaflet before.
So beautiful and softy! I love the pattern too! You are soooooooo great at crochet, with both thread and yarn!!! Nice weekend, Linda! x
ReplyDeleteWow, that is beautiful. So sweet for a baby girl. Your work is so perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty design. I need to start one for a friend who is having a baby girl in May. Her baby shower is on the 9th of April so I had better get to work. Hope you are having a great weekend. :) Tammy

Very nice, Linda, that lucky little one will love it, I'm sure. I like ripples and the contrasting "stripes" in the single and double crochet. I can see that you also love doilies and they are all truly exquisite. You are very talented.
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty! Very girly.
