Tray for Three runner

This is the first of 3 small runners that I'm working on for a friend.  The pattern is No. 7149 "Tray for Three" from the vintage book "New Ideas in Crochet, Table Topics", and can be found HERE.  

I used the vintage thread pictured in size 30 and #61-ecru.  The border is a separate pattern that I found somewhere else.  Each motif is 1.5 inches.  The runner measures 22.5 by 13.5 after blocking.

Sunshine Lace Doily

I'd like to present to you the "Sunshine Lace Doily" designed by Cylinda Mathews.  It's a free pattern on her website Crochet Memories.  I made it with #10 thread using a #18 hook and the finished doily measures 17 inches.  It was completed on August 4th.

Changes made

Fall is in the air!  That being said, it was time for a change to the theme of the blog.  I've added fall doilies to my header and leaves in the background!  Not sure if I like it, but it will stay this way for a while.  Will need to update it before Christmas comes!
