Stone Flower Doily

I had previously run across this doily on the web (picture only), and started dreaming about making the doily as it so caught my eye.  A couple of followers were kind enough to provide a link to the pattern so I immediately set about creating the beauty.  I still haven't learned which publication it appeared in.  Thank you to the followers who pointed me in the right direction!!

Made with #20 thread using a #14 hook. The finished doily measures 17 inches.

Pineapple Ripple Rose Doily

Another doily made from the Pineapple Ripple Rose doily pattern from Family Heirloom Doilies. This time I used more blue in the pattern. Both doilies (this one and the one posted prior) are a gift to a friend who loves doilies but doesn't crochet.

Now to make one for myself!

Two of a Kind Doily

Happy Monday afternoon to everyone!  I'm still trying to organize all my completed projects that have not been posted.  I have been taking pictures, editing, etc., while still working on new projects.

This doily comes from Magic Crochet issue 77 and is two of the smaller doilies.  It was made with #20 thread using a #12 hook and measures 11 inches each.  Hopefully I will decide to make the larger oval one some day soon.

Thanks for stopping by and may God bless!

Flowering Pineapple Doily

I've made this doily before several years ago in all white.  I had to finish each pineapple tip individually in white in order to get the final round in the pink color and it look correct.   My tension was a little off on this one. Made with #10 thread using a #8 hook.  Below are two publications the pattern can be found in.

Happy July 4th!!

A very special wish of happiness to everyone on this July 4th as we celebrate our freedom in this country we are so blessed to live in.  We may have some "bumps" along the way, but the blessing is still there, cherish it and protect it!
