A Mary Werst doily complete

This one took some time to complete due to the detail in the stitches.  I do believe all the effort was well worth it with seening the finished doily.  It's made with #10 Royale thread in Mint Green.  It's from the book Extra-Special Doilies published by Leisure Arts and is called "Exclusive".  The designer is Mary Werst.

Scallops...I love them in doily, and this one you took a loop from behind right, to make that flower effect? Gorgeous..love that layered look, the color of springtime...beautiufl...lovely workl

Faith..you actually do a 2nd row of long tribles going over the previous row down to a row below...that gives the textured look to the doily for the scallops. I love her work....it just takes a lot of concentration to get her patterns right!

Gorgeous Linda! I started this one in a peach thread but never finished it. I need to dig it out! This is just so pretty!

Pammy Sue....I just know "peach" would be a color that would also bring out all the special stitches/layering. You definitely need to finish it!

Linda, didn't you find an error in Round 13? I only count 19 stitches when there should be 20 in each "fan"….did you have a problem or am I all wet? Would appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks!
