Flower Lace Doily

Posting my 2nd doily for the day!  It's called Flower Lace and was found on Picasa.  It was made with Lizbeth #20 in white and their color 628 (salmon medium).  It measures 17 inches across.  After finishing the doily and studying it I saw Christmas colors!  This is probably one that I will make again in Red/White/Green. The parts I did in the salmon remind me of Christmas trees. What do you think??

Very pretty. Makaes me think I need to spice up the doilies I make. Yours are so very pretty. Yes, Christmas colors would look nice. Thanks for sharing your doilies with us.

Yes, I see the trees, too! :o) Lovely work! (Maybe it will inspire me to do a little blocking...)

Michael...I find that blocking takes discipline. There for a while years ago I would let my blocking basket pile up. Not any more. I never have more than two that haven't been blocked now. I so hate to get behind!

Linda, I get my thread online from yarns and threads by lisa. She tends to be the cheapest I can find online if you include the postage. I like that she ships them in the original packaging if you ask. And she is quick also,I believe she has a blog..yarns and threads by lisa

I'm lucky: My husband does all my blocking.
