Swinging Bells Doily

A design by Jo Ann Maxwell called "Swinging Bells".  It's from the American School of Needlework publication called The Ultimate Doily Book.  It was made with #10 thread and #8 hook.  The finished piece measures 14 1/2 inches across.  I thought the final row done in a gold thread added a extra touch to the piece.  Do you see the bells??

And the publication it comes from...

Thanks for stopping by.

Your doilies are true works of art. I love everyone of them. I think this one is my favorite. I tried to crochet a doily once, but I can't work with the fine thread. I'll just drool over yours.
