Marjorie Doily

This doily was designed by Grace Fearon, an "up and coming" highly talented designer.  Her designs are very detailed with a lot of texture to them.  You can find her published designs HERE or on Ravelry.  It was made with Aunt Lydias #10 in white using a #5 hook.

I will be working on more of her lovely patterns in the future....stay turned...

Thanks for stopping by!

Royal Diamond Centerpiece

Finally finished this one with all those popcorn stitches in it.  Pattern is from House of White Birch-Heirloom Tabletoppers series.  Made with Red Heart #20 thread using #10 hook.  Measures 23 inches.  It really is a "beauty"!   Another one that will be donated to the auction!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!

Doily #26

Such a non-descript name for a beautiful doily.  This is the 2nd doily I've made from the same foreign book recently.  It measures 19 inches and was made with Lizbeth #20 thread using a #10 hook.

And again, the book it came from.

Thanks for stopping by on this lovely Sunday afternoon!

My Masters Degree

Did you know I'm about to be presented with my Masters Degree??  What is my major you may ask?

Well, it's making popcorn stitches.  I'm currently completing the last 4 scallops on the outer edge of the Royal Diamond Centerpiece.  There are a total of 1,176 popcorn stitches in the piece (if I've counted correctly).   Don't you think I've earned my Masters, or maybe even my Doctorate???  ðŸ˜Š

Will post pictures as soon as it's blocked.

It's FRIDAY!  Thanks for stopping by!
