Mountain Trail Doily

The Mountain Trail doily is an Elizabeth Hiddleson design.  Please see an earlier posting as to which publication it comes from.  It was made with Lizbeth #20 thread in color #688 using a #10 hook.  The finished doily (actually could be called a tabletopper) measures 28 1/2 inches.  (Started 1/21/2013; finished 2/14/2013)

Happy Valentines Day!

Wishing everyone a very happy Valentines Day!   May your day be extremely enjoyable!

I finished the "Mountain Trail" doily last night.  It was actually early this morning when I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep.  Crochet relaxes me, so when this happens, I usually pick up the hook and thread for an hour or so....then I'm back to sleep.  It's a large doily for me.  Directions say 24 inches when done in #20 thread.  Hopefully I will be able to block it this weekend.

Debbie Doily

This doily is designed by Patricia Kristoffersen and is simply called "Debbie".  As a designer she is known for the detailed stitches that she incorporates into her designs.  The pattern can be purchased here.     I used Aunt Lydia's #10 thread in Coral and a #8 hook.  Finished it measures 15 inches across.  (Started 2/1/13; finished 2/5/13)
