Pineapple Ripple Rose Doily
Another doily completed that I've made before and just love. The possibilities of color combinations are endless with this pattern. It was made with #10 thread using a #8 hook and measures 17 inches. It is from the book "Family Heirloom Doilies" published by Annie's Attic. I'm not sure if the book is still in publication.
Thanks for stopping by, and HAPPY SATURDAY!

Christmas Tree doilies
I have made this doily numerous times and it's always a joy to work up. It was made with #10 thread using a #8 hook and measures 17 inches. These two were a special order and have been delivered.
The pattern comes from the book shown below (which I believe is out of publication), and is called "White Pines" in the book. It was made in all white in the book. There is a smaller version available with fewer rounds, but I always make the larger version. I do always change the last round to add picots.

Doily with lace (a loose translation)
A "loose" translation for this one is "Doily with Lace". It is from a German crochet magazine. Make with #20 thread using #11 hook and measures 14 inches. Unusual, but I do like it!
It's a lazy day this Monday. Haven't been able to get out and do anything. We are waiting for tropical storm Colin to move out of the Gulf and have had nothing but rain all day!!
Thanks for stopping by.....

Spring Heart Doily
Summer is definitely here this 1st day of June. It's already 93 degrees here this afternoon with high humidity. Just think, July and August are not even here yet! I hate to think what kind of hot weather we will have those months!
I'm still trying to get caught up with my posting of completed projects. I call this one Spring Heart Doily. It was made with #10 thread using a #8 hook and measures 15 inches. It's from Filethakeln leicht gemacht magazine, issue 2016-01. It would also be pretty in hearts that are all red.
Thanks for stopping by, and if you are also experiencing this hot weather, stay cool!!
